Methodology

How our AI Score works

Every racket is scored 40–99 on five metrics — Power, Control, Rebound, Maneuverability and Sweet spot — using a fixed editorial rubric assisted by AI, based on the racket’s published specification and publicly known information about the model line. No lab data is invented: unfamiliar models get conservative scores and a low-confidence flag.

The overall AI Score is a weighted composite that follows the frame shape: diamond frames weigh power higher, round frames weigh control higher. The “TOP N%” tier is the racket’s percentile within our current catalog and recomputes automatically as the catalog grows.

Scores are editorial opinion, reviewed by a human before publishing. As on-court test feedback from partner clubs accumulates, it will be folded into the rubric.
