HEAD Extreme One 2025
Specification and verdict.
Mapped across the face.
Every measurement is taken on a 5 × 7 grid over the hitting surface and read outward from the sweet spot. Switch layer to see how the frame behaves in each dimension.
Read this before the first hit.
Where to strike, how long to swing and which side of the court it belongs on — read off the stat block and the specification, not the marketing sheet.
Mass and stiffness peak above the centre line — power first, tolerance second.
Aim to strike high on the face — below the centre line the frame loses pace quickly.
Balance 272 mm puts the mass above the sweet spot — free pace on the smash, more effort on quick exchanges. At 350 g it is light: easy on the arm and quick, so add pace with the swing rather than the racket.
Padel handles come in one size; thickness is set with overgrips. Each overgrip adds roughly 1 mm and 5 g in the hand, which pulls the balance a touch lower — useful if the head feels slow. A thicker grip helps to control a head-heavy frame on the volley.
Typical home is the left (backhand) side, where the player takes the overheads and finishes the point. 12K Carbon face.
Skip it if you are players who want a soft, cushioned feel.
